Children in Worship |
|
|
Our worship services are intended for all people. We worship as the entire family of God as an intergenerational congregation. Children are encouraged to worship with their parents as part of the congregation. Specialized bulletins are available to guide them through the service and “worship packets” help keep them engaged. For the very young, childcare is available during the service. Younger school aged children have an opportunity for their own worship service on the second Sunday of the month where they worship God together in a more relaxed but exuberant manner. Child care during worship: Infants – 2 years. Consistent care is provided by a screened and fingerprinted caregiver each week with parent volunteers. The Cribbery is open from 8:45 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. allowing parents to attend Adult Education classes and worship without worry. Ages 3 – Kindergarten. A screened and fingerprinted caregiver, adults and teen volunteers assist in caring for children during the worship service. Care is available from 10:20 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.
