Presbyterian Women (PW)

Presbyterian Women (PW), the national women’s organization of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), has a strong presence at CPC with 6 circles meeting at various times to meet the schedules of all women. PW is a mission and study focused group. All women are invited to join a circle, which is a small group of women, and follow a bible study curriculum (Horizons or an independent study) and participate in mission projects throughout the year. Three large meetings are held each year joining all CPC circles together for special programs. CPC’s PW members join with other PW members of the Baltimore Presbytery for Gatherings or day-long workshops offering worship, enrichment, education and fellowship. Every three years, a worldwide gathering is held in Louisville, KY and CPC’s PW always sends representatives to enjoy the five day symposium filled with worship opportunities, workshops and fun.
